KARAKTERISTIK MORFOLOGI BUKIT HUNDULOBOHU BERDASARKAN DATA LITOLOGI DAN SHUTTLE RADAR TOPOGRAPHY MISSION (SRTM)

Abstract


Research on the morphology of a form of land can be done by field survey method and utilization of data to do modeling of land. Based on this, the morphological characteristics of Bukit Hundulobohu are interesting to be investigated by using lithology and SRTM data. In collecting and analyzing field data and SRTM obtained that Bukit Hundulobohu rocks are composed of tuff sandstone, limestone and loose material. The high difference of research area is 2 - 5 meter with slope of 2 - 7%. The research relief classes are included in flat or nearly flat relief classes and corrugated relief classes / slopes of slopes. Characteristics of research areas that are somewhat skewed causing movement of soil in this area tend to be low but including erosion prone. The dangers of erosion are greater with the discovery of litative tuffs and obsolete limestone in the study area. Tuf pasiran and limestone is also a rock that is not resistant

Penelitian terhadap morfologi suatu bentuklahan dapat dilakukan dengan metode survei lapangan dan pemanfaatan data-data untuk melakukan pemodelan bentuklahan. Berdasarkan hal ini maka karakteristik morfologi Bukit Hundulobohu menarik untuk diteliti dengan menggunakan data litologi dan data SRTM. Pada pengumpulan dan analisis data lapangan dan SRTM diperoleh bahwa batuan Bukit Hundulobohu tersusun atas batuan tuf pasiran, batugamping dan material lepas. Beda tinggi daerah penelitian adalah 2 – 5 meter dengan kemiringan lereng 2 – 7 %. Kelas relief daerah penelitian termasuk dalam kelas relief datar atau hampir datar dan kelas relief bergelombang/lereng landai. Karakteristik daerah penelitian yang agak miring menyebabkan gerakan tanah pada daerah ini cenderung rendah namun termasuk rawan erosi. Bahaya erosi semakin besar dengan ditemukannya litologi tuf pasiran dan batugamping yang sudah lapuk pada daerah penelitian. Tuf pasiran dan batugamping juga merupakan batuan yang tidak resisten.
