Sosialisasi Perilaku Hidup Bersih Dan Sehat (PHBS) Dan Pemeriksaan Tekanan Darah Dan Kadar Gula Darah (KGD)
Abstract
The Procurement of University of Bengkulu Community Service Program (KKN) Period 97 of 2022 is carried out regularly after the Independent Community Service Program was previously carried out due to the pandemic. Even though currently the implementation of health protocols has become looser, we still have to get used to things that we might not have paid much attention to before becoming things we usually do during a pandemic, such as washing our hands. The 6-step hand washing is one of the things we can do to maintain and improve health efforts so that a clean environment and healthy living behavior can be realized. The problem is, there are still many people, especially children of primary school age, who do not really understand the steps for washing hands properly and correctly. Apart from that, what is of concern to us is the importance of educating the public to be able to carry out routine health checks such as checking blood pressure, blood sugar levels and others, especially in the elderly. Not only the elderly, toddlers also need to check growth and development which can be done through posyandu activities which are routinely carried out by the local health center. A clean and healthy lifestyle should be instilled in children from an early age so that they grow with habits that support a clean and healthy life. Public awareness of the importance of routine health checks also needs to be increased. Therefore, in this activity it is hoped that the community will know well the importance of implementing clean and healthy living habits and health checks to improve quality and equitable health.
