TINGKAT PENDAPATAN PEDAGANG ECERAN DENGAN KEBERADAAN ALFAMART DAN INDOMARET DI KELURAHAN KAYUBULAN KECAMATAN LIMBOTO KABUPATEN GORONTALO

Abstract

This research was conducted in Kayubulan Village, Limboto District. The Objective was to determine the income of retailers before Alfamart and Indomaret existed and to determine the impact of the existence of Alfamart and Indomaret on the income of retailers itself. This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis method. Whereas the income of retailers before the presence of Alfamat and Indomaret in the Kayubulan village was quite stable, considering that the competition between retailer was not too dominant, but with the existence of minimarkets that were widely built in the Kayubulan village, it caused several conflicts, such as some rejections, but not many also think this is normal in the business world there is such a thing as competition. One of the factors that becomes competition among seller is in terms of sales strategy, where there are many strategies that can attract sellers to buy their merchandise, one example of the strategy carried out by Alfamart and Indomaret they often provide price discount promos to their consumers. This has an impact on retailers, especially small retailer. The usual impact is the lack of buyers who buy at their shops or stalls
