Focus and Scope

The focus of this journal is the dissemination of information related to nursing research and evidence-based study on urban nursing issues in low middle income countries. It covers particular issues on education, practice, and research. The journal also considers the presentation of sound knowledge related to strenghtening healthcare system that includes health workforce, and health policy. Letters and commentaries of our published articles are welcome. All submitted contributions will undergo a double blind peer-review process according to standardized criteria. The abbreviation journal title is ZJIK, means Zaitun Journal Healthy sience (in English). ZJIK is published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts will be subject to editorial review and double blind peer reviews. Papers that do not meet the criteria for inclusion or are otherwise inappropriate will be rejected without external review. Manuscripts judged to be appropriate for inclusion in the ZJIK are sent for formal review. Typically two experts review each paper, however they may be subjected to more advanced scrutiny if more specialised advice is needed in regards to statistics or techniques. Based on the reviewers comments, the editors will then accept or reject the papers with the following conditions: (1) Accept and publish, with or without editorial revisions, (2) Invite the authors to revise their manuscript and address specific concerns, (3) Reject the article outright, typically on grounds of lack of originality, insufficient conceptual advancements or major technical and/or interpretational problems. Any changes made to the original manuscript will be clearly stated for the authors to review. The authors should carefully examine sentence structure, the completeness and accuracy of the text, references, tables, and graphic contents of the revised manuscript. The Editor-in-Chief will have the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of manuscripts. The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit articles on all aspects of style, format, and clarity. Manuscripts with excessive errors in any aspect, i.e. spelling or punctuation, words count will be returned to authors for revision before resubmission or may be rejected entirely.

Zaitun (jurnal ilmu kesehatan) publishes fully open access journals, which means that all articles are available on the internet to all users immediately upon publication provided the author and the journal are properly credited.

Publik (Jurnal Ilmu Administrasi) operates under a  articles of this journal licensed under a https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0. This allows for the reproduction of articles, free of submissions charge, with the appropriate citation information. All authors publishing with the Zaitun (jurnal ilmu kesehatan)  accept these as the terms of publication.

This statement explains the ethical behavior of all parties involved in publishing articles in this journal, including authors, chief editors, Editorial Boards, peer reviewers, and publishers / managers Public Administration Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo.

 

Editor Ethics

1. The entry script shall be the responsibility of the Editor to review thoroughly, transparently, objectively and fairly. The editor also has the authority to decide whether or not a text is to be published, subject to the board meeting. The editorial board's policies and various applicable laws on copyright, good name and plagiarism are absolute and inviolable. 2. The Editor is responsible for providing information regarding the terms and guidelines for writing clearly and easily accessible to potential authors. 3. The editor must also ensure that all manuscripts reviewed can be reviewed by the reviewer and all the requirements are read clearly. 4. The editor must be objective, impartial, and honest in editing the manuscript, regardless of gender, business side, ethnicity, religion, race, inter-group, and author's citizenship. 5. Editor and editorial team are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of the author and are prohibited from disclosing any information about the submitted manuscript or articles except with the author's permission. 6. The entry text shall be the responsibility of the editor and editorial team and shall not be misused, either wholly or partly for personal gain. Unpublished manuscripts will be returned to the author.

 

Reviewer ethics

1. Reviewer is responsible for the review made by giving various considerations and recommendations that are clear, measurable and comprehensive. The reviewer must respond to the manuscript within a specified time (4 weeks). 2. Reviewers must be honest, objective, unbiased, independent, and only in favor of scientific truth. The process of reviewing the manuscript is done professionally regardless of sex, business side, ethnicity, religion, race, inter-group, and author's citizenship 3. Reviewers shall ensure that reference sources and script quotations are appropriate and accountable. 4. Reviewers are required to always maintain the confidentiality of script-related information and authors for personal gain. Author Ethics 1. The author is responsible for the manuscript sent to the CosmoGov journal and declares that the manuscript sent is the correct manuscript as the result of his own research or his thought, original as his own work and does not manipulate data, honestly and freely plagiarism. 2. the author should inform that the manuscript submitted / submitted to the editor is a script that has never been submitted / submitted to the publisher of another journal / publication. If there is any redundancy in the submission of a manuscript to another publisher, then the editor will reject the submitted manuscript. 3. The author shall indicate quotations and references obtained from the work of others and may not alter or alter the source. 4. The author will not object if the script is edited without changing the substance or main idea of writing. 5. the author must understand the ethics of scientific publications above to avoid any conflict of interest with other parties, so the script can be processed smoothly and safely.
