Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original research manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

The Indonesian Journal of Agricultural Development and Sustainability (IJADS) publishes high-quality scholarly articles in the fields of agricultural development, agribusiness, rural development, agricultural economics, and sustainable agriculture.

## Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be prepared in clear and concise English using Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).

General formatting requirements:

• Font: Times New Roman
• Font size: 12 pt
• Line spacing: 1.5
• Paper size: A4
• Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides

## Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should contain the following sections:

1. Title
2. Author names and affiliations
3. Abstract (150–250 words)
4. Keywords (3–5 keywords)
5. Introduction
6. Materials and Methods
7. Results and Discussion
8. Conclusion
9. Acknowledgements (optional)
10. References

## References

All references must follow the APA citation style and should include DOI numbers whenever available. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

Example journal reference:

Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (2023). Title of the article. Journal Name, 10(2), 100–110. https://doi.org/xxxxx

Example book reference:

Author, A. A. (2020). Title of the Book. Publisher.

## Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts submitted to IJADS will be checked using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with similarity index higher than 20% may be rejected or returned for revision.

## Supplementary Files

Authors are encouraged to upload supplementary materials that support their research, including:

• datasets
• survey instruments
• additional figures or tables
• research protocols

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal.
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  3. The manuscript follows the IJADS article template and formatting requirements.
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  5. All references include DOI numbers where available.
  6. The manuscript has been checked for plagiarism and similarity is below 25%.
  7. The manuscript file has been prepared for double-blind review by removing author identities.
  8. Tables and figures are placed within the manuscript near their first citation in the text.
