Focus and Scope

JUIK (Jurnal Ilmu Komputer) Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. This journal was opened and released in 2021 Volume 1. No. 1 for the period February, June and October. This journal has the scope of Computer Science, Information Engineering, Software Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Image Processing and Information Systems. This journal can be a place for you to stream articles to be recorded so as to add insight for readers or reference seekers to find references according to related fields.

Peer Reviewed

Peer Review Process

Each article sent to the editor will be selected through an initial review process by the Editorial Board. Next, a plagiarism check will be carried out using the existing plagiarism tool. Some policies in the review of JUIK (Jurnal Ilmu Komputer): 1. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. 2. Review process employs a double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa. 3. In the review process, reviewers consider the correspondence of title, abstract, discussion (findings) and conclusions. Beside, reviewers also examine the novelty, scientific impact, and references used in the paper.

Jurnal Ilmu Komputer (JUIK) publishes fully open access journals, which means that all articles are available on the internet to all users immediately upon publication provided the author and the journal are properly credited. Publik (Jurnal Ilmu Administrasi) operates under a articles of this journal licensed under a https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0. This allows for the reproduction of articles, free of submissions charge, with the appropriate citation information. All authors publishing with the Jurnal Ilmu Komputer (JUIK) accept these as the terms of publication.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

JUIK merupakan jurnal yang ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia tapi tidak menutup kemungkinan untuk di submit juga dalam bahasa Inggris

Beberapa struktur penulis yang wajib diketahui oleh penulis yakni:

ABSTRACT (10pt BOLD)

Abstract ditulis dalam bahasa inggris berisi ringkasan hasil penelitian menggunakan font size 10 (times new roman) dengan spasi 1. Abstract menjelaskan tentang permasalahan dalam penelitian, solusi yang ditawarkan, tujuan penelitian, metode penyelesaian masalah, dan hasil penelitian. Abstract ditulis dalam satu paragraf dengan ketentuan tidak lebih dari 250 words.

 Keywords: berisi kata kunci dari penelitian

PENDAHULUAN

Artikel pada JUIK sepanjang 10-15 halaman dan diunggah dalam format MS Word. Maksimal sebanyak 10 (sepuluh) kata dipergunakan sebagai judul artikel.

Artikel dibagi berdasarkan ketegori; (1) artikel penelitian, (2) artikel teknikal, (3) artikel konseptual, (4) studi kasus, (5) tinjauan kepustakaan, dan (5) ulasan umum. Artikel ditulis dengan susunan yang terdiri dari Pendahuluan, Tinjauan Pustaka, Metodologi Penelitian, Hasil dan Pembahasan, Kesimpulan dan Saran, Daftar Pustaka dan Lampiran (bila diperlukan). Cara penulisan judul bab mengikuti template ini dengan memilih style yang tersedia yaitu Heading 1.

Penulis harus memastikan bahwa tulisannya tidak mengandung unsur plagiasi. Artikel yang sudah terbit sebagai prosiding, tidak diterima untuk terbit di JUIK tanpa melalui proses lebih lanjut untuk melengkapi tulisan dan data hasil akhir penelitian.

METODE PENELITIAN

Tahapan yang dilalui dalam penelitian, pembangunan konsep, atau penyelesaian kasus, dituliskan pada bagian metodologi.

Persamaan matematika harus diberi nomor secara berurutan dan dimulai dengan (1) sampai akhir makalah termasuk appendix (lampiran). Penomoran ini harus diawali dan diakhiri dengan kurung buka dan kurung tutup serta ditulis rata kanan.

HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN

Results and discussion contain the findings of the research and discussion. Write down the findings obtained from the results of research that has been done and must be supported by adequate data. The results of research and findings should be able to answer questions or research hypotheses in the introduction.

KESIMPULAN

Concluding remarks and suggestions. The conclusions illustrate the answer of the hypothesis and / or the purpose of the research or findings obtained. The conclusion does not contain the repetition of the results and discussion, but rather the summary of the findings as expected in the objectives or hypotheses. Suggestion presents the things that will be done related to the next idea of the research.
