ANALISIS IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER DI TK NEGERI NUSA INDAH POPAYATO BARAT KABUPATEN POHUWATO

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in character building and identify supporting and inhibiting factors at TK Negeri Nusa Indah, Kecamatan Popayato Barat, Kabupaten Pohuwato. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive narrative method. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and parents, and documentation. The results showed that implementation was carried out through a holistic-integrative approach, where character values (religiousness, discipline, responsibility, independence, cooperation, courtesy) were instilled through daily habits, teacher role models, and meaningful game-based learning. Supporting factors included school commitment, adequate teacher qualifications, and support from most parents. Inhibiting factors included limited learning time, differences in family parenting styles, and the influence of the community environment. This study concluded that the Independent Curriculum is effective in shaping character if implemented consistently and in an integrated manner between schools, families, and the community.
