Abstract

This study aims to examine the readiness of infrastructure supporting sustainable tourism in the Limboto Lake area, Gorontalo Regency. The main problem raised is the suboptimal provision of basic infrastructure that supports sustainable tourism activities. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results indicate that most of the basic infrastructure is still inadequate both in terms of quality and quantity. The availability of transportation and public facilities is considered not yet integrated with the needs of tourists. In addition, the communication system and health services around the area are still limited. Therefore, collaborative efforts are needed between the government, private sector, and community to improve the quality of infrastructure in a sustainable manner.
