Madu: Jurnal Kesehatan has been published since August 2015 by the Department of Midwifery, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Madu: Jurnal Kesehatan is a peer-reviewed journal published twice yearly, in June and September. The purpose of publishing this journal is to disseminate information related to health, especially midwifery and maternal and child health, to interested parties. Honey: the health journal focuses on the main issues: Midwifery, Maternal and Child Health, Reproductive Health, Family Planning, and other specific issues related to maternal and child health sciences such as public health, epidemiology, pharmacy, and community nursing.
Articles published in Madu: Jurnal Kesehatan have gone through a double-blind review process by reviewers. The decision whether or not to accept a scientific article in this journal is the right of the Editorial Board based on recommendations from reviewers.
Madu: Jurnal Kesehatan has been accredited by the National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA), managed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic Indonesia with a rating Sinta 4 from 2024 to 2028 based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Research and Development Number: 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025 concerning Scientific Journal Accreditation Period 1 Year 2025.
