An Accelerated Learning Model Integrated With Wordwall Media To Enhance Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of an Accelerated Learning model integrated with Wordwall media to improved students’ mathematics learning outcomes, specifically on the topics of kites and rhombuses. The Accelerated Learning model is a student-centered instructional approach designed to optimize and expedite the learning process by fostering an engaging and supportive classroom environment. By actively involving learners and creating enjoyable learning experiences, this model aims to enhance conceptual understanding. Integration with Wordwall, a digital interactive media tool, further reinforces students' comprehension and encourages collaborative learning. This classroom action research was conducted over two cycles in Class VII 4 at SMP Negeri 2 Suwawa. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students’ mathematics achievement from the first to the second cycle. The results suggest that the implementation of the Accelerated Learning model integrated with Wordwall media is effective in improving students’ understanding of geometric concepts, particularly kites and rhombuses.
